With compatible Telecom mobiles, you get your own personal Online Photo Gallery.

The Gallery offers you numerous fun functions you can use to adapt a photo, everything from changing the colours to adding speech bubbles.

How does it work?
Each time you send a Photo or Video message with one of the mobiles listed above a copy is automatically uploaded into your Online Gallery. You can also directly upload a photo or videos in your phone to the gallery.

Select mobile phones, such as Sanyo 2300 or 4920 which are not photo or video capable will be able to subscribe to and access an Inbox containing photos or videos which have been sent to you. However, the photos or videos will only be stored here for 30 days from date of receipt. save those you wish to keep onto an offsite folder (PC, memory card). or another folder in your online gallery.

The Online Gallery offers you the ability to modify photos and videos online, then send a Photo or Video Message to a Telecom Photo or Video Messaging capable phone, an email address or a text capable Telecom mobile from your phone or via the web.

Type of files you can send
You can send photos or videos you have take yourself or received from another to your Online Gallery, any non-copyrighted images and sound files stored on your phone, any sound files you have recorded and text.

Vodafone cannot accept messages from Telecom mobiles which exceed 300KB. So, it's best to scale down to basic resolution or reduce the amount of video recording time if you plan to send images to a Vodafone mobile. These restrictions do not apply for messages to Telecom mobile phones or to emails.

Saving messages in the Online Gallery
Images will be saved in your Inbox (and Outbox) for up to 30 days. If you wish to keep them longer you will need to move them before the stated expiry date to the Stored Folder.

Please note - currently you cannot upload images from your PC.

It's also important to remember that once your account is cancelled you will no longer have access to these messages, so make sure you download or delete the messages before you cancelling your account.



Access to the Online Gallery from your mobile or from the web


There are two easy ways to access your Online Gallery, from your Online Gallery capable phone or from the web;

From your phone you can access photos in your Online Gallery then:
  • Create Albums, copy and move photos between albums
  • Rotate a photo

  • Download them to your phone (They are saved in the 'Photo or Video Wallet' section of your 'Pictures' or 'Video' menu) to:

    • use them as screen savers
    • assign them to a contact so when they call the photo appears on your phone screen

    • play the video from your phone whenever you want

  • Erase photos

  • Share photos

  • Edit /add captions
From the web you can access photos in your Online Gallery
  • Rotate, Lighten, Darken, Crop

  • Change the colours to Antique, Black and White or Soft Focus

  • Change the photo to Cartoon Effect or Line Drawing

  • Add your own Comic Bubbles

  • Store up to 250 photos

  • Arrange up to 16 shots into an album with individual captions which can be viewed as a slide show


What does it Cost?
You get to manage, touch up, edit and store up to 250 photos or videos for no charge.


Charges for sending Photo Messages
To send a Photo Message from the Online Gallery or from your mobile costs per photo, per recipient:
  • $0.20 cents to a Telecom mobile or email address

  • $0.50 to another network mobile
It's free to receive a Photo Message. The cost of sending from your Online Gallery will be charged to your mobile account.


Charges for sending Videos
To send a Video Message from the Online Gallery or from your mobile costs per video (up to 250 kb of data), per recipient:
  • $1.00 (incl GST) to any mobile or email address
It's free to receive a Video Message. The cost of sending from your Online Gallery will be charged to your mobile account.
